Complementary therapies offer a holistic approach to health and can complement each other as well as conventional medicine. A holistic approach takes the emphasis off the illness and specific symptoms and concentrates on the person. It allows physical, emotional, social, environmental and spiritual factors to be considered but recognises that specific symptoms provide an entry point from which the most appropriate complementary therapy can be chosen. For example, a muscle injured through a physical action may require a different approach to a muscle habitually strained due to emotional tension.

Complementary therapies encourage a willingness to take responsibility and to hold awareness for your own health, whilst promoting well being.

I offer Reflexology, Massage, Reiki and Yoga. Each therapy may be appropriate for a range of conditions and all are suitable for antenatal and postnatal care.
